1. Discussed with Ool. right whether affermative steps should be taken
to request. hepublican steerring committee members to include CIG legislation
in their plans. After discussion with Dir. C.I. , Col. '?'right stated that such
a move would be premature.
2. Office of Capt. Clifford, Special Counsel to the President, requested of
Mr. Lay, draft of proposed CIG legislation. Postponed one week for preparation.
3. Request office of Sen. Barkley (-Mrs. Chance) for two sets of Pearl
Harbor Hearings.
