Ex-CIA analyst to speak at Drew
MADISON = Former CIA analyst David MacMichael, who has pub-
licly challenged the Reagan administration's policy against Nicaragua,
will speak Tuesday at Drew University.
MacMichael began working for the CIA in March 1981, gathering ev-
idence on alleged arms shipments from Nicaragua to El Salvador. His
findings disputed the Reagan administration's claims that shipments
were being made following the political uprisings in El Salvador
between the fall 1980 and the spring 1981.
Subsequently, his two-year contract with the CIA was not renewed.
The former analyst will speak at 8 p.m. in the Great Hall on the Drew
campus. The event is free and the public is invited. For information,
contact Linda Dulye at 377-3000 Ext. 238.
