STAT Declassified in Part - Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2012/06/14: CIA-RDP91-00587R000100380004-8 Mr. Duckett, an electronic scientist and guided missile engineer, completed his formal education as part of a World War II government-sponsored engineering program at Johns Hopkins University in 1943. His experience has been largely in the management of government organizations concerned with guided missile test range operations and scientific intel- ligence analysis. He participated in early radar development at Westinghouse Corporation and in recent years served on a number of national level committees and panels on various guided missile and space programs. His last affiliation, prior to joining CIA in September 1963, was with the U. S. Army Missile Command at Huntsville, Alabama, where he directed the missile and space intelligence effort and served as a con- sultant to the intelligence community. Upon joining CIA, Mr. Duckett was appointed Director of the Foreign Missile and Space Analysis Center of the Directorate of Science and Technology. In May 1966 he was appointed Assistant Deputy Director for Science and Technology, and from September 1966 to April 1967 he served as the Acting Deputy Director for Science and Technology.
