Experiments show that oxygen Is absorbed by the .
sulfides to a significant extent even when the sulfide
pulp Is considerably diluted. The oxygen Is absorbed
by pyrites and galens principally at the first Instant
of contact, whereas chalcopyrite absorbe the oxygen
gradually. These peculiarities of the minerals with
regard to the action of oxygen agree with the Influence
(Metallurgy, TT, v. 7, no. 8) Wee to T&C611.1 S"VIC.1
