1. (SWN) SIGNIFICANCE: SILHOUETTES OF SEVEN SR-71 ADVANCED
RECONNAISSANCE RCRAFT, SEVEN PROBABLE F-4 FIGHTER AIRCRAFT,
AND EIGHT MEDIUM JET AIRCRAFT ARE AT A BOMBING AND STRAFING
RANGE IN THE CAMAGUEY COMBINED ARMS TRAINING AREA.
2. (SWN) REMARKS: THE SILHOUETTES ARE IN A MOCK PARKING AREA NEXT
TO AN AIRFIELD MOCK-UP (PREVIOUSLY REPORTED) WITH A RUNWAY AND
PARALLEL TAXIWAY, A PARKING APRON, AND TWO DISPERSAL AREAS.
THIS BOMBING/STRAFING RANGE WILL PROBABLE BE USED FOR TRAINING
OPERATIONS OT AGED FROM IGNACIO AGRAMONTE AIRFIELD
THIS IS THE MAIN TRAINING AREA FOR UNITS IN
THE EASTERN PART OF CUBA, ALTHOUGH UNITS FROM THE WEST HAVE
USED THE AREA. THE AIRFIELD AND THE SILHOUETTES
CONSTRUCTED
COORDINATES 21-34-OON 077-53-30W
