On 30 June 1988 I sent to your attention several pieces of material about the
ServiceMaster Company, along with a cover letter requesting the opportunity to discuss
with you ServiceMaster's unique facility support services program. One 17 July I
received in response a letter from the Procurement Management Staff advising that I
would be placed on the Agency's "Bidders Mailing List" upon my completion of the two
enclosed forms. Because it is highly doubtful that preemptive solicitation will ?be
sought by the Agency on this type of facility support management service, I would again
request to meet with you personally to discuss this hybrid currently receiving much
D.o.D. interest and action.
Mr. Huffstutler, I enclose a copy of Serviceivlaster's annual report which details our
financial stability and corporate direction. I also enclose a completed Certificate
Pertaining To Foreign Interest. I will plan to call your office to make arrangements for
a meeting together.
