MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: Weekly Meeting with the SSCI Senior Staff
28 June 1988
The meeting was held at 1500 in SHOB-211. Sven Holmes,
Jim Dykstra, Keith Hall, Britt Snider, Dave Holliday, and
George Tenet attended for the Intelligence Committee staff.
John Helgerson, represented the
Agency. The following issues were discussed:
-- The staff will get back to us regarding a possible
briefing on the implications of the F-18 sale to
Kuwait.
-- The staff requested a briefing on the recent
expulsions of Soviets from Canada with emphasis on
implications for the US.
-- Holmes asked about the status of our answers to
questions on interrogation training and narcotics.
-- Dykstra said that the Committee was planning to
hold counterintelligence hearings in the Fall. These
hearings would mark the second anniversary of the
SSCI's report on counterintelligence.
-- John Helgerson offered a briefing on North Korean
