I want to thank you for taking time to meet with our Senior
Intelligence Service officers. They appreciated hearing your
thoughtful views about the relationship between the Committee
and the Agency. Your explanation for the reasons the Committee
needs to conduct effective oversight were particularly important
to convey to this group of officers.
I also want to thank Sven Holmes, Dave.Holliday, Jim Dykstra
and Keith Hall for spending several hours with the group at a
particularly busy time for them. Their candid presentations
