We have learned from staff this afternoon that the
~~re~t~at~en~~i~Fl is scheduled to come to the Senate floor
tomorrow.
Apparently, Boren had promised Specter that this action
would not be taken before your testimony to the SSCI yesterday,
but now that you have testified, Boren wants his bill put to a
vote before Specter or anybody else can encumber it with
amendments. I may learn more while talking with Sven Holmes
later this afternoon and will keep you informed.
