FROM: Director of Congressional Affairs
SUBJECT: Congressional Clearance Requests
At the time the Director was signing the letters to
Louis Stokes, HPSCI, and Representative Hamilton concerning
Judge Webster underscored to me that he wants us to
ensure that congressional clearance approvals/disapprovals are
handled expeditiously. This would include those who do not meet
DCID 1/14 as well as Security disapprovals.
We will work with you in any way we can to expedite these
congressional requests. As always, I appreciate the cooperation the
Office of Security extends to us, and I thank you for your extra
work.
