2. OIT installed the first pieces of equipment to be placed
in the New Headquarters Building. Two motor generators and the
refrigeration unit for the Cray X-MP/24 computer were located on
the first floor. The Cra com uter will be used for scientific
25X1 processing requirements.
3. OIT successfully tested a portable generator for
25X1 delivering emergency power
Switch Rooms. The generator will be used in the event of a

4. OIT activated two FBIS TVRO (Receive Only Video) circuits
from the Office of Information Resources television operations
center in the Headquarters Building to the FBIS television center

Archives and Records Center has been completed. The new shelving
adds another 20,000 cubic feet to the Center's records storage

6. OIT hosted twelve McDonnell Douglass Corporation
representatives on a visit to learn about OIT's experiences with
centralized computer operations. A briefing and a tour of the
Computer Center were provided.
