Dear Marc,
Attached is the agenda for the conference on
revolutionary change which we discussed the other day. A
colleague who has heard you speak at our training sessions
in Virginia has strongly emphasized to me how knowledgeable
you are on this subject, and in particular on Latin American
issues. We are looking forward very much to your
participation.
From our standpoint, on 20 November (please see
agenda) it would be most useful if you could be a discussant
(15-20 minutes) on the roundtable on Chile. And we would
welcome your comments at numerous other points throughout
the two days of discussions -- such as the roundtable on
"antecedent conditions" and the country-specific talks on 21
November.
Any comments you may have on this agenda would
be greatly appreciated.
