Govczament Policy on Combatting Terrorism (C)
The recent , series of media revelations about NSZ)L?i--138 have
created a quest by various Congressional committees for copies oil
the directive and briefings on our policy. While we share a
common interest, in building Congressional support for our policy,
it is imperative that we present a unified position on the issues
and protect classified information from unauthorized disclosure.
It is equally important that v neither jeopardize the
President's policy, nor create further anxiety among our allies
on this matter before the June Summit. (C)
