Witness last Thursday's Federal Register, in which one of the coun- ? -y's most secret organizations, The Defense Intelligence Agency, issued a rule saying that people monitored by the "Attache Special Project" and the "Companion Channel Information System" have no right to see the data collected about them, as they ordinarily would under the Privacy Act. The reason: people being monitored shouldn't know who's telling tales about them. Who's being monitored? "That's cisssi9ed," said a DIA employe. What is the "Attache Special Pro- ject?"
