intelligence mission.

agencies, such services of common concern as the
National Intelligence Authority determines can be more
efficiently accomplished centrally.

6. The existing intelligence agencies of your De
ments shall continue to collect, evaluate, correlate and eeeLee-
inate departmental intelligence.
7. The Director of Centrel Intelligence shall be ad-
vised by an Intelligence Advisory Board consistime-lof the he-eE,
(or their representatives) of the principel military ',rid
civilian intelligence egencies Of the Government having func-
tions releted to national security, as determined by the
Intelligence Authority.
8. Within the scope of existing lau and Preaiden-)-3
directives, other departments and agencies of the executiee
branch of the Federal Government shall furnish such intelei-
gence information relating to the netion-.1 security as is In
their possession, and as the Director of Central Intelligencc
may from time to time request pursuant to regulations of .he
N.T.tioncl Intelligence Authority.
9. Nothing herein shall 1e construed to authorize -Qv
making,of.investigations inside the continental limits of thc
United States and its possessions, except as provided by :_ew
and Presidential directives.
10e. In the conduct of their activities the NetionflI
'Intelligence Authority and the Director of Central Intellegence-
shall be responsible for fully protecting intelligence SOPI=CE
and methods.
