Here's Heidi Shulman in Los Angeles. HEIDI SHULMAN: Los Angeles County Supervisors called for the new investigation after a flurry of publicity given charges Marilyn Monroe was murdered. That's at odds with the coroner's report which said she died from an overdose of sleeping pills. But news stories that a coroner's investigator said he was coerced into signing the death certificate prompted supervisors to call for a new probe. MIKE ANTONOVICH: To me, after 20 years, it's time to clear up this case once and for all. SHULMAN: An assistant district attorney is reviewing the information in the case, but he says that 20 years after OFFICES IN WASHINGTON D C ? NEW YORK ? LOS ANGELES ? CHICAGO ? DETROIT ?
