Following are some OL activities which you may wish to include in your
discussions with the DCI next week:
?Update on Fence and Jogging Track:
On 6 July, we received the final design drawings for the fence and
jogging track from Dewberry and Davis. The contract documents for the
Long Fence Company to begin this project have been prepared. The
contractor was scheduled to start construction the week of 11 July.
?Employee Appreciation Day:
As you are well aware, we have a number of outstanding employees in OL.
Today I discovered that a group of our supervisors held a periodic
Appreciation Lunch for their subordinates. The management of the
Building Services Branch Facilities .Management Division (as well as
Chief, Services Group, 5-14) held a lunch for their staff
subordinates and contractor personnel. Each of the managers donated from

these folks and their personal contributions to the cause.

StTBJECT: Breakfast Bullets for the [n7eek of 18 July 1988
Asbestos removal contractors have obtained Virginia license renewal and
are proceeding with removal in the garage area of Key Building on
16 and 17 July. Removal of ceiling the on the 6th floor will occur on
22 through 24 July. Procedural changes have been implemented to ensure

that removal does not carry over into office hours.
?Engineering Contract for the Electronic Dissemination
System:
On behalf of the Office of Current Production and Analytical Support, a
sole-source contract with Mitre Corporation was approved for $3.8
million. This is an engineering support contract for the Electronic
