SUBJECT: GRAMM-RUDMAN REDUCTIONS
1. As I'm sure most of you are aware, Gramm-Rudman II is
almost upon us and we have been told to prepare for a worst-case
nonnersonal service reduction of 20 percent.
of likely targets (No. 1 being the item you would eliminate from our
budget first, and so on) in preparation for a discussion of the
ranking to be scheduled for next week. The items are in no
particular order now.
3. You are invited to suggest substitutes for any items
belonging to your group's program prior to or at next week's meeting.
4. Please direct any questions you may have on the attached
list to E$PS.
