Of Special Interest This Week
+ The FBIS dish antenna located at Headquarters monitored live from
the Soviet GORIZONT satellite the raw television feeds of the press
conferences held by Soviet Foreign Minister Shevardnadze and Secretary of
State Shultz on 23 October. While Soviet television did broadcast a
heavily edited, half-hour version of both conferences later that evening,
Headquarters vi access to the full two and one-half hour
transmission.
