is a Request for Waiver for attached subject requisition.
2. This procurement, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) for an
FBIS Fixed-Price Contract, will satisfy a critical requirement for the
FBIS Modernization Program. Failure to provide the contractor with the
equipment by the GFE schedule date of 23 October could result in an
increase in the contract cost and a change in the contract delivery
schedule.
3. The requisition was prepared on 28 July, but it met with delays
both within and outside FBIS. Fortunately, the Office of Logistics
Procurement Division completed required actions, and they are now
awaiting your approval to release the purchase order.
4. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
