SUBJECT: FBIS Collection Guidance No 87-08: Arab Banking
Corporation Activities
1. The Arab Banking Corporation (ABC) in Bahrain has contributed to
Libyan, Kuwaiti, and UAE economic development. This leading Arab banking
institution and its officers are currently of interest to FBIS consumers.
These consumers ask that FBIS process information on ABC's worldwide
business activities, especially in the Middle East and in Europe.
Reporting from Arabic language sources is of special interest.
2. The above information constitutes FBIS Collection Guidance
No 87-08 and may be given to contractors, monitors, and editors in the
field. It is scheduled to expire on 31 May 1988.
3. I would appreciate your comments on this guidance and whether
it helps in your selection, processing, and publication of material in
response to this consumer request.
