SUBJECT: OC-MPB Weekly Staff Notes, 16 August - 22 August 1987
2. Liaison Activities:
b. On 19 August,
visited the U.S. Coast Guard radio station, Alexandria,
Virginia, for a briefing and tour of its engineering
laboratory and MARS facility. Discussions focused on the
UHF and HF packet-switching tests currently being conducted
by the the Coast Guard, with good success, between the
Alexandria facility and other selected Coast Guard sites.
