It is being held in the Treaty Room on 6-7 Oct. The first day will cover the demand side of the narcotics situation and the second day the supply side. They (NSC/State) would like you to speak on the second day (7 Oct at 1:30 - 2:00) and present an overview of CIA's involvement in the narcotics issue -- our role in this new national security threat -- touch on worldwide trafficking patterns. On the day you would speak the sequencing of speakers would be -- President, Secretary of State, Vice President, Ed Meese. FYI - that morning you will be speaking at AFCEA on low intensity conflict.
