Each year the Agency provides classifies: briefings and sends
classified intelligence publications to many different
committees of the Congress. As you are undoubtedly aware, since
May, 1986, the staff of our Office of Congressional Affairs has
reviewed security procedures governing these Agency briefings
and publications. Our, objective is to work with you to ensure
compliance with regulations and in a few instances to update or
strengthen regulations that appear inadequate.
