SUBJECT : Appreciation for Briefing on
Emanation Security Provided
by the Communication Security Staff
ins most professional manner and proved to be one of the most inter-
esting briefings provided the Subcommittee in several months.
1. Messrs. of the
Communication Security Staff provided a briefing on the technical
aspects of emanation security to the USIB Computer Security Sub-
committee at its 5 June 1970 meeting. This briefing was accomplished
displayed a wealth of experience in this
field and were able to respond to many technical and general questions
on the subject posed by individual members.
2. Subsequent to the meeting the Subcommittee conveyed
to me their appreciation for a most interesting talk and question
period. I would like to express our appreciation to the Office of
Communication Security Staff and especially
