2. In an effort to present the recommended critical intelligence needs in
a comprehensive manner, we have displayed them in two different forms. At
Attachment A is a summarized listing of the recommendations by agency.
Attachment B, however, consolidates the proposed critical intelligence needs
on a target/topic basis. 25X1
3. The two attachments have been provided to the DCI. In an effort to
fulfill his requirement, the critical intelligence needs package will be
discussed at the 23 April Committee meeting. The primary objective will be to
identify and prioritize the most significant critical intelligence needs, and
provide the DCI with specific recommendations for addressing them.
Additionally, we should consider alternative methods for addressing those
recommendations that are considered not germane for CIPC consideration, i.e., 25X1
defer certain recommendations to other organizations or committees for
action.
