CIPC Organizational Activities
? The monthly CIPC Meeting has been scheduled for 1500 hours, 25 March. The
- Combat Intelligence Analysis Report.
? The meeting background material package has been completed and was
forwarded to the members on 12 March.
? The Terrorism Study is presently being redrafted. This effort should be
completed within the next few days.
? The DDCI has approved conditionally a WSSIC request to continue the
operation of the WSSIC BW/CW Working Group. The DDCI's approval is
limited to one year, at which time he will review his decision (attached).

Terrorism Activities:
? We met on 8 March with) to discuss the working group's draft
report. You will recall that last week, Charlie Allen had expressed a
preference for a much briefer report, shaped alon the lines of a
backgrounder for the DCI's testimony to Congress, had drafted a
sample of the type of report harlie escribe ie had
endorsed it enthusiastically. however, had reservations. ~~ 25X1
is concerned that it is too brief and presents too rosy a picture. He
? With the final formal meeting of the CIPC CBW Intelligence Subcommittee on
4 March, attention has now turned to preparing the final report of the
subcommittee. The subcommittee hopes to draft a hard hittin executive
summary-type document and forward it to the CIPC in April.
