SUBJECT: Amendment No. 6 to Contract No. BC-200 con Mfg.
Company, Pasadena, California, Project
(AQUATONE).
1. This memorandum contains a recommendation for the approval
of the Director of Central Intelligence. Such recommendation is
contained in paragraph 5.
2. Contract No. BC-200 covers the production and delivery
of the A-2 and B cameras and related equipment for Aquatone and
the Air Force. This Amendment No. 6 provides for FAK and Depot
"C" spares for Project Aquatone, Air Force and the bonded ware-
house. Also provides for training of FQG personnel and furnishing
of additional Technical Manuals.
3. Amendment No. 6 results in a net increase of $260,407.01
in the target price and $284,297.61 in the ceiling price or a
total consideration as follows:
$2,781,517.77 Target Price
$3,036,701.61 Ceiling Price
The net increase in the ceiling price is chargeable during Fiscal
Year 1958 as follows:
FY 1958 Aquatone $128,948.40
FY 1958 Air Force "No year funds" 149,274.21

Concurrence by the Comptroller in the space provided below will
signify that 1958 funds are available and have been obligated.
4. The Director of Central Intelligence previously certified
that in accordance with the provisions of Section (10) b of Public

Law 110 that a sum not to exceed $2,500,000 was available for
Contract No. BC-200. The amount in excess of this certification
will be handled under the new procedure approved by the Director
of Central Intelligence on 15 December 1956.
5. Approval of Amendment No. 6 to BC-200 and execution
thereof on behalf of the Agency by the authorized Project
Contracting Officer is recommended.

1. This memorandum contains a recommendation for the approval
of the Director of Central Intelligence. Such recommendation is
contained in paragraph 5.
2. Contract No. BC-200 covers the production and delivery of
the A-2 and B cameras and related equipment for Aquatone and the
Air Force. This Amendment No. 5 provides for a voluntary price
adjustment for the B camera from $100,000 to $77,272.00 and restates
all items being supplied. The Amendment also provides for test
equipment, C spares, oblique ;:position indicator, side drive maga-
zines, additional spares and ground support equipment and additional
funding of $32+,683.00 to cover the bonded warehouse activity for
repair and overhaul of equipment.
3. Amendment No. 5 results in a net increase of $608,573.81 in
the target price and $661+,1+06.31 in the ceiling price or a total
consideration as follows:

The net increase in the ceiling price is chargeable during Fiscal

Contract No. BC-200. The amcu,nt in excess of this certification

Central Intelligence on 15 December 1956.
5. Approval bf Amendment No. 5 to BC-200 and execution thereof
on behalf of the Agency by the authorized Project Contracting Officer
is recommended.
