MEMORANDUM FOR:

SUBJECT: Meeting with the Intelligence Producers Council
1. As you know, NIESO planning for remote site manning was not viewed favorably
by the IPC member organizations when we presented the concept for reaction last fall.
Our comments were provided to NIESO on 2 February 1984 (CAJ #000002-84). The
Intelligence Producers Council would be pleased to meet with you to discuss this topic
further.
2. Having discussed this matter with your staff, we have tentatively placed you on
the agenda of our next IPC meeting which is scheduled for Wednesday, 28 March 1984,
1000 to 1200. If this is agreeable with you, we will schedule you to appear from 1100 to
1130. You may want to provide a short briefing and have the remainder of the time for
discussion. All attendees will be CS cleared. The meeting will be in room 7E32, CIA
Headquarters Building.
