Approved For Release 2008/11/07: CIA-RDP89B00423R000100100032-9 0" DI NOTICE DI N 10-4 NO. 10-4 30 October 1984 UNAUTHORIZED DISCLOSURES OF CLASSIFIED INTELLIGENCE 1. The DCI recently established within the Security Committee (SECOM) of NFIB a central facility to compile and analyze information on the publication of unauthorized disclosures of classified intelligence. The SECOM will review the cases of such disclosures and assist in devising measures to deter future intelligence leaks. 2. Effective 15 October 1984,1 lis designated the Directorate of Intelligence and National Intelligence Council focal point for referring the necessary data to the SECOM. Any known instances of unauthorized disclosure of DI or NIC products should be promptly reported to him. The basic information on the leak should include the publication, data, subject matter, apparent document or briefing from which the leak emanated, and any background material that might assist the SECOM. is located in Room 7G50 and may be reached on Robert M.
