In our narcotics survey course, which is offered two or three
times a year to new intelligence analysts and collectors, we include
a briefing on the role of the U.S. Coast Guard in the war against
illicit drugs. Lieutenant Junior Grade Gilbert Teal of your staff
has made the presentation a number of times over the past two
years.
I wish to express my appreciation for the many times Lt. Teal
has responded to our request for a presentation and hope that he can
continue to do so. While the military is known for its high quality
briefings, Lt. Teal's work in this regard has been outstanding. He
is a credit to the Coast Guard and makes an essential contribution
to our narcotics course.
