SUBJECT: Meeting GSA CIA Concernin 2430
4. Mr. King mentioned that he heard what was being said
but having been a party to this same situation in the past and
hearing the same promises he could not help but be skeptical.
Much has been promised but payment of millions of dollars in
Standard Level Users Charge (SLUC) has resulted in next to
nothing to CIA in maintenance and capital improvements. This
is particularly true at the 24301E Street complex
Mr. King further stated
a is an overseas organization and therefore we are
not anxious to get involved in O&M operations. However, we
in Logistics have received great pressure from our own elements
because GSA has been unwilling or unable to provide a suitable
working environment. In view of this, we now must insist on
a time table from GSA for correction of the problems or CIA
will have to take over O&M of these areas.
5. Discussions continued concerning the assignment of
a GSA person to 2430 E Street to assist residents with the
O&M problems and Mr. Alderson agreed to pursue this matter
and report back at a later date. The prospectus
which has been turned down twice was addressed
and r. erson also agreed to investigate this matter.

6. The meeting came to a close with GSA agreeing to
host, at State Group offices, a meeting on 27 July 1982 as
mentioned above and the raise that Mr. Alderson will contact
during the first week of August
concerning the other matters covered.
