Thank you for your letter of March 25, 1982, concerning the custodial services,
maintenance and operations of your Central, East and South Buildings at 2430
E Street, N.W., and the 1724 F Street, N.W. Building in Washington, D.C.
As you are aware, our respective staffs began discussions on this matter on
April 16. As of this date, they have developed and formed a joint Central
Intelligence Agency/General Services Administration Working Group on buildings
management issues which will resolve the matters raised in your letter. The
first joint working group session will be held during the week of May 3rd.
We are committed to establishing and maintaining the work environment you require
for your employees within the resources of our two agencies. GSA management will
make every effort to. accomplish this on a timely and cooperative basis.
