MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: DI Space Modification in the New Headquarters Building (NHB)
1. After several discussions and calculations, it seems that the space
designated for ASG would be more advantageous for MPSS, NAASW, and IPC.
This space swap would not cause a construction impact and the square
footage allocated to DI in the NHB would remain the same.

2. The space vacated by MPSS and IPC from the OHB is approximately
8500 sq.ft. vice the 9700 sq.ft. that would have been made available by
moving ASG. However. the 4600 sq.ft. that NAASW is now occupying at
is now planned for the NHB. This seems an apparent
loss of sq.ft. by the DI but it is most likely countered by the expansion
caused by splitting OCR.
