SUBJECT . Security Report - 4 March - 10 March 1985
Monday 4March 1985
1. 79 construction workers on site. 20 temporary badges were issued.
2. 46 trucks entered the construction site.
3. 4 persons were on site at 1700 hours. 1 person on site after 1719 hours.
4. Security support rendered to ASBESTROL Company from 1500 to 2300 hours.
Tuesday 5 March 1985
1. 184 construction workers on site. 19 temporary badges were issued.
2. 30 trucks entered the construction site.
3. 3 persons were on site after 1700 hours.
4. Security support rendered to ASBESTROL Company from 1500 to 2345 hours.
5. Quality Way Fence Company, Springfield, Virginia was stopped from
STAT working on the perimeter fence on the south side
of the South Parking lot. The company was here under contract to
Allied Maintenance to repair damaged fence. At the time this office
became aware of them they had removed approximately 20 feet of fence
fabric and were prepared to replace it after having repaird the hangers.
The company had been instructed to enter the compound via Gate 1. No
instruction had been given to report to the Security Trailer for badging,
Mr. Mark Walker, Allied Maintenance, was contacted and confirmed that the
company was under contract to repair the fence. Mr. Walker and employees
of Quality Way Fence Company were advised of the proper way and procedures
for contractors to enter the Agency compound.
6. A new opening was cut through the east perimeter fence by the Long Fence
Company , under contract to the George Hyman Company. A double gate was
hung and alarms re-routed and completed by Agency personnel. The gate
was needed to allow clearing and preparation for installation of a new
sewer line from the new building site to the pumping station outside the
fence.
7. Fence section 13/14 near the Parkway-entrance, Gate 3, was changed to a new
section The old fence posts and fabric will be moved to
accomodate changes in the entrance roads to West A parking and the North
Loading Dock area.

1. 187 construction workers on site. 22 temporary badges were issued.
2. 75 trucks entered the construction site.
3. 4 persons were on site after 1700 hours.
4. Security support rendered to ASBESTROL Company from 1500 to 2310 hours.
5. A delivery for the HALCO Construction company was allowed through GATE 1 ILLEGIB
at 1115 hours.
6. The chain link fence inside the visual barrier on the north side of the
parking garage was taken down. A large gap under the visual barrier near
the Northwest corner of the construction site was left for drainage.
Thursday 7 March 1985
1. 182 construction workers on site. 24 temporary badges were issued.
2. 60 trucks entered the construction site.
3. 8 persons were on site after 1700 hours.
Friday 8 March 1985
1. 171 construction workers on site. 20 temporary badges were issued.
2. 53 trucks entered the construction site.
3. 3 persons were on site after 1700 hours.
4. ASBESTROL Company did not work on this date. NBPO/OL Security Staff
was not informed of this and security support was scheduled.
Saturday 9 March 1985
1. 15 construction workers on site. 4 temporary badges were issued.
2. 0 trucks entered the site.
Sunday 10 March 1985
1. 6 ASBESTROL Company employees entered the site at 1500 hours.
Site was secured at 2328 hours.
