Dear Mrs. Falck:
Thank you for your letter of 12 July 1983 regarding our
planning for CIA expansion.
We have appreciated your assistance in calling to our
attention the concerns of the McLean citizens. It has been
through the willingness of community leaders such as yourself to
constructively criticize our planning that we have been able to
respond to these concerns.
The traffic issue is the one remaining area where much
remains to be done. As you understand, this is an area where the
Agency is dependent upon state, county, and citizen support to
achieve a solution. We believe that we are now on the right
track and in a position to make rapid and meaningful progress.
The assistance provided by Congressman Wolf and yourself in
arranging for greater citizen participation is appreciated.
