proposed building expansion program.
We attach great importance to this program and are doing everything
practical to ensure that we get the best product possible. We are also
concerned that the Agency select the very best firm available. You may
rest assured that the selection process now in progress has been designed
to ensure that all firms receive thorough and objective consideration.

P&PS was notified on Monday, 16 August 1982, of a briefing at the Office of
Senator John Tower (Texas) on AEE selection procedure. The briefing was
at the / FR&M~ts C/BPS/OL OGC/LEPLD, and a Legislative
Liaison representative from OEA briefed one of the Senator's aides on
12 August 1982.
