STAT Attachment Approved For Release 2008/06/03: CIA-RDP89-00244R000200330010-8 Approved For Release 2008/06/03: CIA-RDP89-00244R000200330010-8 6 October 1932 Dff SORA1 1.! FOR: Director of Logistics M-HUGH: F. Deputy Director for Science and Technology Director, oreign Broadcast Information Service SUBJECT: FBIS Space Requirements 1. FBIS has reviewed its space needs in light of the office's budgeting for FY 1983, FY 1984, and the out-years. There is an urgent need to accommodate additional personnel and equipment provided for in the CLAP with the least degree of disruption to operations. Tne need arises from a significant increase in sitions and the addition of equipment associated with autoanation. 25X1 2... Wo estimate' our_ requirements at"between 7;000' 'end 9"Y ..00.0. square feet beyond our present holdings. The most desirable options: a. An additional floor in Key Building. This would give us 9,700 square feet and keep our major operational elements together. b. An additional 7,400 square feet minima in a nearby building in Rosslyn. (We would move one Operations Group division and one Production Group division to this space, which should be contiguous.) 25X1 3. The above assumes that FBIS is still projected for the new building in the Headquarters area, as our ultimate objective should be to keep all ma or FBIS Headquarters components together. lyp can kee because of its interface with the public. 7- 25X1 25X1 rnwFInFNTIQI Approved For Release 2008/06/03: CIA-RDP89-00244R000200330010-8
