Dear Mr. McDonald:
This is in response to your letter of February 5, 1982, requesting that I
appoint a representative from my professional staff to participate on the
Architect-Engineering Evaluation Board for your proposed headquarters
building extension.
I recognize the significance of this major project and appreciate the
opportunity to provide assistance to your agency in the selection process.
Mr. Claude G. Bernier, who is currently Deputy Director, Design and Construction
Division, has been asked to represent the National Capital Region. Mr. Bernier
has had extensive experience in administering A-E design contracts and should
be an asset on this project.
