(S/D) SIGNIFICANCE: AN INCREASE IN MILITARY ACTIVITY IS OBSERVED. 2. (S/D) REMARKS: THREE CONVOYS (ONE NOT ON GRAPHIC) WITH A TOTAL OF 36 VEHICLES HAVE BEEN FORMED IN THE BIVOUAC AREA Attachment to Z-10010/82 NPIC/PEG (1/82) INCREASED MILITARY ACTIVITY ONDANGWA AIRFIELD, NAMIBIA AND FOUR OF THE EIGHT MB.326 HAVE BEEN PULLED OUT FROM UNDER THEIR SUNSCREENED REVETMENTS. A FUEL TRUCK IS PARKED BETWEEN TWO OF THE MB-326, AND UNDERWING STORES/MUNITIONS ARE UPLOADED. TWO POSSIBLE BOMB DOLLIES ARE ALSO NEAR THE AIRCRAFT. ONE C-160 IS ON THE PARKING APRON. 25X1 25X1 (S/D) THE LAST OCCURRENCE OF SIGNIFICANT MILITARY ACTIVITY AT THIS AIRFIELD WAS WHEN TWO MIRAGE F-1 ARMED 25X1 WITH AIR-TO-AIR MISSILES AND TWO MIRAGE III/V WERE HERE FOR PROBABLE RECONNAISSANCE PURPOSES. THIS RECENT INCREASE IN ACTIVITY IS INDICATIVE OF CONTINUING SOUTH AFRICAN MILITARY OPERATIONS INTO SOUTHERN ANGOLA. (S/D) ONDANGWA AIRFIELD IS 36 NM SOUTH OF THE NAMIBIA-ANGOLA BORDER. 3.1 (COORDINATES 17-52-42S 015-57-OOE COMMENTS AND QUERIES REGARDING THIS BRIEFING BOARD MAY BE DIRECTED TO THE NPIC/PEG OPERATIONS OFFICER.
