1. Progress Reports on Tasks Assigned by the Senior Management:

Major Events that Have Occurred During the Preceding Week:

public utility. The action which made release of this generator possible
was the successful load test of four of the new gas turbine generators.
b. The Director, Near Eastern and South Asian Analysis,
Directorate of Intelligence, and eight staff members toured the New
Headauartprs ng on 17 November. No significant issues were raised.
c. New Building Project Office (NBPO), OL, presented Office of
Information Technology (OIT) requirements for early occupancy for prewiring
and installation to the Security Configuration Control Committee on 14
November. This was the first such meeting in an effort to standardize and
coordinate security requirements for new construction projects. As a
follow on to this meeting, the board will tour the New Headquarters

sculptors work in a variety of mediums (wood, stone, metal), and had an
interesting selection of contemporary pieces.
3. Upcoming Events:
a. Preparations are underway for a major paving effort in the
mpound. The Bid Package 4 contractor hopes to pave the last section of
th Lot, the roadways. and the VIP Parking Lot during 20-22 November.
I continue to press the GSA Project Manager for more meaningful
information regarding construction schedules and change orders.
