SUBJECT: Establishment of Analytical Methodology Research
Division (AMR/ORD)
1. Effective this date, the Analytical Methodology Research
Division (AMR/ORD) is established replacing the Life Sciences
Research Division (LSR/ORD) and the Center for the Development
of Analytical Methodology (CDAM/ORD).
2. Effective this date, the Life Sciences Research Division
and the Center for the Development of Analytical Methodology are
abolished and their collective personnel, activities, responsi-
bilities, and budgets are transferred to the Analytical Methodology
Research Division.
3. The mission of the Analytical Methodology Research
Division is to conduct interdisciplinary research and exploratory
development in:
The Management and Information Sciences
The Economic and Political Sciences
The Behavioral and Life Sciences
Mathematics and Statistics
Military Science
Specifically, the Analytical Methodology Research Division is
charged with:
Anticipating intelligence problems
requiring Social, Behavioral and
Information Science inputs
