The Subcomittee on Asian and Pacific Affairs will he
holding executive and public hearings on the Administration's
foreign aid request for South Asia.
It would be useful for the Ranking Minority Member,
Congressman James Leach and myself to receive an update on
This will enable us to assist the other members of the
Subcommittee with our informed judgement in this sensitive area.
We would like to he briefed on Wednesday, February 27 at
9:00 AM in room H-139, after the room has been swept.
