Dear Mr. Owens,
Please consider this letter an official request for copies
of CIA documents that were released to Ground Saucer Watch, a
private UFO group on Dec. 14 or Dec. 15, concerning UFO related
material in government files. I understand there are approximately
900 pages of material.
Any assistance you can render to help The Washington Post
obtain the requested documents as soon as possible would be
appreciated. of your office has been 'most helpful and
suggested writing you direct would be the fastest method of
obtaining the-material. We'll be happy to send a messenger to
pick up the papers.
