TITLE/SIGNIFICANCE:
T-64A, T-64B, and T-64 M1981/1 Identification Features
COMMENT:The T-64A has a two-part optical range finder located on both the right
and left side of the turret front. The left optic of the T-64B (photo on
back) has been enlarged to accommodate a Laser Range Finder (IRF), while the
right optic has been removed. The most significant change, however, is the
addition of a missile guidance package for the gun tube-fired AT-8 ATUI on the
turret right. The T-64 111981/1 (also on back) has the LRF on the turret left,
no right side optic and a platform for the missile guidance package on the
right. The package itself, however, is absent.
