The Guverment ui Israel has indicated to us that
it 'aight release some 31 Lebaneep 6nii Palestinian
peinoheers early next week. The ;tsraplis have
emphasised that this release shopid not be linked to
the hijackiny. The prisoners to be geleased may be
those who had appealed to the Israeli courts.
Islamic?leader Sheikh Fadlal,tah publicly declared
hip opposition to hijacking, while aft the same time
indicating his sympathy with the demands of the
