SUBJECT: Briefing on Drug Trafficking and Terrorism
1. On Monday, 30 September 1985, two staffers on the House
Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Eric Sterling and
Franco Munoz, were briefed on narcotics trafficking and
terrorism in Latin America. The briefing was given on an
unclassified basis in Room 6E47, Headquarters Building. F--]

in Latin America and the alleged link between drug dealers and
terrorists. He was restricted, however, in what he was able to
discuss because the staffers lacked clearances. No contentious
issues arose nor are there any requirements pending in relation
