of the Defense Subcommittee, Senate Committee on Appropriations,
be granted clearances as required by her position.
Due to the legislative schedule for the Department of Defense
Appropriations Bill, it is requested that these clearances be
granted by August 1, 1985.
Attached for your information is a copy of the letter
granting Mrs. German a final Top Secret clearance.

A final Top Secret security clearance has been granted
Mrs. Penelope S. German.
This clearance has been granted in accordance with standards and
procedures of the Department of Defense and is on a need-to-know
basis in connection with her duties.
We would appreciate your advising us if, at anytime in the
future, Mrs. German no longer has a requirement for the clearance
and at that time returning the enclosed Security Termination
Statement signed and witnessed.
