To expedite consideration of the Bill, 0MB has decided to convene this meeting rather than waiting for written comments to be submitted to it by concerned agencies. No binding decisions, of course, will be made at this meeting but it will serve to crystallize those areas of dispute that will require further deliberation and negotiation before a finalized version of the Bill can be transmitted to the Hill. A standing-room-only crowd of L _]Agency employees attended the Director of Personnel's (D/OP) 20 March presentation on the current status of the Agency's efforts concerning retirement changes, the Administration's proposed changes to Federal retirement systems, and Congressional legislative activities on retirement. In addition to the Headquarters auditorium, two of the Office of Central Reference theaters were filled to capacity. For those who were unable to attend this presentation, videotapes will be made available for later viewing. b.
