of Imagery.
Recommend and Coordinate Policies, Directives, and Guidance for Imagery Collection, Processing
and Exploitation.
Maintain Cognizance of Plans, Programs, and Practices Relating to Imagery Collection, Processing, and
Exploitation and Recommend Requirement Changes as Appropriate.
Advise DCI of the Responsiveness of Existing and Potential Collection and Exploitation Resources to
National Needs.
Formulate Guidance for: Programming of Collection and Processing Resources, Mission Planning and Tasking,
Imagery Exploitation, and the National Data Base of Image-Derived Information.
Assure the Validity and Practicality of Guidance in Light of Changing National Circumstances, DCI Objectives
and Priorities, Cost Effectiveness, and Certain Risk Considerations.
Monitor, Evaluate, and Report Status and Effectiveness of Coverage and Imagery Products in Terms of Utility,
Quality, Timeliness, and Cost.
